Classless

In an interview this week, Patriots' Quarterback, troll genius, and spygate beneficiary Tom Brady urges fans to get nice and drunk before their home game Sunday against the Chargers.

Great idea. Fans are stabbing and shooting each other, and beating each other into comas, but by all means everybody get "lubed up" before coming into the stadium. Oh never mind, the Patriots' PR person just explained he meant to drink water and stay hydrated. Don't you just love when you're talked to like you're stupid?

Say, wasn't Brady the opposing QB for the Giants' Super Bowl XLII victory, the greatest in the history of sports?

Angry much? I actually have no problem with what Brady said. Fans in New England don't seem to be as bad as fans with Cowboys or Raiders gear. Fans tailgate and party and drink before and during games anyways, his saying it has zero effect on whether it happens or now anyways. I won't get angry every time an athlete speaks his mind.

The whole Brady overrated thing... I don't think so. If you've never watched him he's a pretty freaking good quarterback that has put up amazing numbers without a running game and only Moss as a receiver. I can't remember but I don't think he won a ring with Moss either. Which makes the Super Bowl loss to the Giants that much better :-D

Yes, at first I wanted to get angry...but then I realized, again, that he is a Troll Genius and that's the exact response he would want.

It's not the dumbest thing an athlete has ever said, but surely it fits into the category of "Take a look around you and have some awareness that it's probably not the best timing to say something like this."

And you are correct sir, no championships with Moss for the Greatriots.
