It has occurred to me that Jay Leno is the new Brett Favre: Gets catered to, can't make up his mind about retiring, doesn't know when it's time to step aside, and makes the situation uncomfortable for everyone involved. (One difference though, Brett Favre is the better comedian of the two.)Stay strong, Conan.

So true. Conan wrote for The Simpsons during its peak, and Jay Leno reads misprints on newspapers for a 1/2 hour every night, and -- as your headline will attest -- lame current-event jokes for the rest.
Also, is it me, or is late-night TV in general wildly overrated? (Kind of like, ya know, Favre.) I mean, do you know anyone who watches it?
